The house is wired to provide access to
data and computer systems, phones, and central audio, and video.
Additionally, wiring was installed to provide "Smart" home
control of most lighting devices and wiring for security cameras
was added. The complete system required, in total, almost 2
miles of CAT-5E and RG6/QS coax. 1/26/2004 to 2/15/2004.
Laurel installing RG6 on the roof. She climbed through that
opening!
Good documentation is essential
As is labeling
Satellite dish cables
Work begins in the MDF (Oct. 2005)
Line level audio and control
Zoë checks out a pile of cables
Control wiring being terminated in a 110 block
Audio wiring going into a 100-pair 110 block
Rack being readied for phone system termination
Data patch termination
At this point, the only loose cable is the coax on the right of
the rack.
